Founder
Jeanne Jeup is the Co-Founder and CEO of the Institute for Multi-Sensory Education (IMSE), launched in 1996 to transform literacy instruction across the U.S. As a former first-grade teacher, Jeanne recognized the need for a more effective approach to teaching reading. Using methods grounded in the Science of Reading and inspired by Dr. Samuel Orton and Anna Gillingham, IMSE has led professional development and trained over 300,000 teachers, helping create millions of confident readers. Jeanne’s contributions to education have earned her recognition as the 2018 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year for the Michigan and Northwest Ohio Region.
Executive Director
Krista became a passionate advocate for those who are neurodivergent when, as a parent of a child with dyslexia, she noticed that the access she was able to provide her child in remediation and STEM enrichment was denied to so many. From that experience, Krista created the award-winning non-profit Dyslexic Edge, a program that provides reading intervention and STEM enrichment to students in the Washington, DC region. Krista has over 15 years of experience in education, both as a teacher and as a researcher in educational theory and curriculum development as well as non-profit management. Her work with Dyslexic Edge has resulted in the creation of a vast network of non-profit organizations, corporations, government agencies, and schools that all work together to give the gift of literacy to all students.
